Automatic Shift Plate Surround (Chrome) – I have one (1) automatic shifter plate (GM 15841545) that is brand new, never installed and still in the OEM box. These, like many other items, are no longer available. There is an online seller with some stock that has a price of $849.95. Price – $700 plus shipping, in stock.
Automatic Transmission Shift Adapter – This adapter requires you removal of the OEM shift handle and replaces it with a solid aluminum and stainless item that will allow you to install any 3/8 – 16 thread pitch shift handle of your choosing. Customize your interior look! Comes in satin or polished chrome look. First image with black background is the item for sale, the other images are examples of finished items. Door Lock Driver – I have NEW driver side door locks for 2003-2006 Chevrolet SSR trucks. These are NOT OEM AC Delco GM 15115931 since they went out of production many years ago, this unit is a fully functional replacement that is a perfect substitute. These are not super cheap parts, rather high quality OEM like parts purchased new, modified with new parts and tested before being shipped, they will provide years of trouble free ownership. Chevy SSR Fuse Box Repair – On 2005-2006 models the fuse box in the engine bay has a manufacturing defect that causes a copper trace wire internally to crack. This crack will cause the truck to loose all power when driving. It may or may not cause trouble codes related to fuel pump and other equipment. It mainly happens when the truck is warm and will not allow an immediate restart. After 15 minutes or so when the engine bay cools down, the truck will start normally again until it heats up and the crack again causes a power loss. This same issue affects the same era Trailblazers and Corvettes. Do not spend money or time to replace it with an OEM part, they most likely have the same issue since the manufacturing line never changed to improve this problem. Chevy SSR Speedometer Stepper Motor Repair – This problem is common with many early GM trucks, the problem is with the stepper motor, the small device which controls the needles. GM replaced these older units with a more robust longer life unit in later models. You will know when you have a bad stepper when the needles for one or more indications on the speedometer to not 0 correctly, do not display proper indications, or display erratic behavior. I will replace all the stepper motors for $50 plus shipping. This includes replacing all the motors, checking backlights and replacing as required and recalibration of the needles. For additional charges I can change the faceplate to a different color, change needle colors, change the lights to LED and repair boards that have been damaged by using too hot of an iron or other mishandling.
